National Healthcare Group Diagnostics (NHG Diagnostics) is a business unit of the National Healthcare Group (NHG). With 17 static imaging centres, 14 laboratories and four mobile services, NHG Diagnostics is the leading provider of laboratory and imaging services in primary healthcare.

Aligned with NHG cluster’s vision of “Adding years of healthy life”, NHG Diagnostics mission is to provide imaging and laboratory services that are accessible, cost-effective, seamless, timely and accurate.

We provide a comprehensive range of services at our centres which include general x-ray, mammography, spirometry, ultrasound and laboratory services. We have a team of dedicated, well-trained radiographers and laboratory technologists at each centre.

The four mobile services consist of two Mobile X-ray containers, a Mammobus and a Mobile Clinic, that provide diagnostics services at the doorsteps of the community and corporate organizations. Both Mammobus and Mobile Clinic are accredited under the Health Promotion Board to provide subsidized mammogram screening and pap smear services respectively to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents. The Mobile X-ray containers are equipped with digital capabilities that allow for wireless transmission of images.

NHG Diagnostics is the first primary healthcare provider to introduce wide tele-radiology network in Singapore. This allows images to be transmitted and reported by specialised radiologists within 30 to 60 minutes. Numerous patients have benefited from this new technology breakthrough, as the waiting time for radiological reports at most centres is significantly reduced within an hour.

NHG Diagnostics are certified under ISO 9001 and ISO 15189 which is under the Singapore Accreditation Council-Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (SAC-SINGLAS). In addition, NHG Diagnostics joined efforts with NHG Polyclinics to attain the latter's Joint International Commission (Ambulatory Care Standard) accreditation.
