Our patients come from all walks of life. Many of our patients come from abroad as well.

With such varied profiles, we recognise that our patients may expect different levels and types of services.

Apart from providing top quality healthcare to help our patients get well and stay well, in NHG we take pride in the level of service that we provide. Our staff not only work hard, but they also put their hearts into their work.

Staff at all levels – from the receptionists to the nurses and doctors – are well schooled in our CARE standards – Confidence, Attentiveness, Respect and Empathy. The aim of inculcating the CARE standards in all staff in the different institutions is to ensure patients enjoy the same and consistent level of service across NHG institutions.

To help us maintain our high standards of service, Patient Focus Group sessions, chaired by Chief Executive Officers or designated senior management staff, are held regularly with our patients.
