The National Healthcare Group (NHG) is proud to be the sponsor of the IT Physicians' Symposium that will be held at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) on 15 May.
The Symposium is part of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) AsiaPac07 Conference and Exhibition. The HIMSS Conference is a major health informatics event in the United States and this is the first time it will be held in Asia Pacific. Singapore under the auspices of the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the InfoComms Development Authority (IDA) is proud to be the host country.
Minister for Health Mr Khaw Boon Wan will also be the Guest of Honor at the Opening Ceremony on 15 May at the Singapore Raffles City Convention Centre. NHG is an official supporting organisation and its Chief Information Officer Mr Linus Tham is on the event Organising Committee.
Close to 1,000 leading experts will convene at the event to address critical market issues and trends in healthcare and technology. Beside the main programme, there are three Symposiums - the Leadership Symposium, the Physicians' IT Symposium and the Nursing Symposium.
Physician's Symposium: Driving IT for Patient Care (sponsored by NHG)
The Physicians' IT Symposium will address IT as a foundation for innovation, expansion of care delivery, and integration. This dynamic symposium will focus on clinical data and clinical systems and how they can be used to ensure improved decision making, care processes and overall workflow.
