Over 230 angels from 17 volunteer and patient support groups were honoured at Tan Tock Seng Hospital’s (TTSH) International Volunteer Day event on 4 December. This year’s theme, “On the Wings of Angels”, recognises the selfless dedication of TTSH volunteers who have given much time and kindness to bring cheer to patients. Volunteers and guests were treated to a magic performance by Republic Polytechnic students and were serenaded by the choir from Peiying Primary School.
Adding to this special occasion was the launch of the Republic Polytechnic Chapter @ Tan Tock Seng Hospital. This marks the start of a partnership between the hospital and Republic Polytechnic through their active support in various patient centered programmes for the community.
