Risk Management & Patient Safety Workshop for ILTC nurses
What This Programme is About
Be it in wards, clinics or other units within any healthcare settings, Risk Management and Patient Safety are rooted in the daily work of all nursing staff. In order to provide quality care, ad safe care, to our patients, nurses need to be equipped with knowledge from identifying patient care related risks involved in their work to learning to manage each of them well. This comprehensive 2-day Risk Management and Patient Safety course does just that.
The pedagogy employed in this course is very much a case study approach, intellectually rigorous, data intensive and grounded in scholarly literature. Such an approach offers our nurses opportunities for engaging in thought-provoking discussion and developing analytical thinking skills to identify, analyze, evaluate and control risks at departmental and institutional level.
