This series of workshops aim to provide participants with opportunities to practise and refine their communications skills and techniques when handling patients.

The workshops are delivered by the Cognitive Institute, which is an established Australian training provider of communication skills and risk management courses to healthcare professionals.

• Module 1 - Mastering Patient Communications
• Module 2 - Mastering Difficult Clinical Interactions
• Module 3 - Mastering Adverse Outcomes
• Module 4 - Mastering Shared Decision Making

Format

Workshop with short lectures, reflective exercises, small group facilitated discussions, group activities and rehearsal of skills.
