The objective of this course is to enable participants to form a basic understanding of tools typically used in Quality Improvement (QI) projects.
What You will Learn
Basic Toolkit Workshop is designed for beginners to form a basic understanding of tools typically used in Quality Improvement (QI) projects.
This interactive half-day workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of patient-centered Quality Improvement (QI) in healthcare.
Interactive teaching will be conducted in the form of classroom discussions, case studies and video viewing.
Who is It For?
Clinicians, Nurses, Allied health staff, Team members involved in improvement projects, All healthcare staff who wish to learn the basics of Quality Improvement

Through attending this course, participants will be able to:
- Apply quality improvement principles and tools to make significant improvement in healthcare processes and outcomes.
- Understand the logical Model of Improvement (foundation of all improvement methods) and the steps involved in the improvement cycle
- Learn the basics of team based QI diagnostic tools: flowcharting, silent voting, Ishikawa (fish bone) diagram, Pareto chart and Run chart.
