Our Institutes
- Institute of Healthcare Leadership (IHL)
- Institute of Healthcare Quality (IHQ)
- Institute of Clinical Education (ICE)
The Institute of Clinical Education was started to focus on clinical-related training for clinicians. These include a wide-ranging list of training programmes, from Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy and other Allied Health fields.
The topics not only meet the continuing education needs of clinicians, they also serve to continually align clinicians to best evidenced-based practices that are safer and bring about best outcomes for patients.
The Institute of Clinical Education also works closely with both local and overseas healthcare organisations and experts to identify clinical skills gaps and to help meet these clinical training needs within the rapidly transforming healthcare industry.

Writeup on Inaugural "Workplace Based Assessment Using Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX)" for Clinician Teachers
The mini-CEX is a method to assess students’ or trainees’ clinical and professional skills in the ward, on ward rounds, in Emergency Department, or in outpatient clinics.
On 29 & 30 Jun, the Institute of Medical Education (ICE) conducted 3 sessions of the Mini-CEX Workshop. Each session was originally targeted at 30 participants. However, the response was overwhelming and we had to increase the class size to 50 for each session!
