X-Ray Reading
What This Programme is About
Programme Objectives
The half-day X-Ray Reading interactive workshop is designed to provide participants with an update on basic skills required to interpret medical imaging in acute emergencies, including abnormalities in the chest, abdomen, musculoskeletal trauma and brain & skull.
It is also designed to equip MOs with practical skills which will be useful when MOs are ‘on-call’. In addition to didactic presentations, participants will work in small groups with Radiology tutors who will cover specific points of importance with day-to-day real-life case material, encouraging interactive discussion about the interpretation in these areas of diagnostic imaging.
This is an excellent opportunity to review the interpretation of imaging abnormalities that may present themselves to you after hours on the wards, in the EMD or in the clinic.
