Writeup on Inaugural "Workplace Based Assessment Using Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise (Mini-CEX)" for Clinician Teachers
The mini-CEX is a method to assess students’ or trainees’ clinical and professional skills in the ward, on ward rounds, in Emergency Department, or in outpatient clinics.

On 29 & 30 Jun, the Institute of Medical Education (ICE) conducted 3 sessions of the Mini-CEX Workshop. Each session was originally targeted at 30 participants. However, the response was overwhelming and we had to increase the class size to 50 for each session!

The orientation for the pioneer batch of residents commenced on 23 Apr 10, and Institute of Clinical Education (ICE) helped to coordinate the ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) training for 46 residents who would be joining NUHS.
