About NHG College

NHG College was officially established on 19 July 2002. Its mission is to support NHG’s continuing efforts in talent development, educating, training and raising the professionalism of NHG staff. In doing so, College enables our health care institutions to improve the quality of care and add years of healthy life for our patients.

To better support key areas in healthcare transformation and NHG strategic objectives; NHG College has been structured into four institutes, namely the Institute of Healthcare Leadership (IHL), Institute of Clinical Education (ICE), Institute of Healthcare Quality (IHQ) and the Institute of Professional Training (IPT).

College will continue to be the training gateway to a wide range of training programs including leadership, clinician education, healthcare quality and risk management and other professional skills courses. In addition, the College aims to leverage on its one - stop e-learning and knowledge management platform to help grow a network of learning communities, promoting seamless exchange of skills expertise and knowledge information.

Moving beyond being its manpower developmental role, the College aims to be the centre of knowledge excellence, providing thought leadership in healthcare training, bridging local and regional healthcare knowledge networks, and inculcating a culture of lifelong learning so as to help transform NHG into a learning enterprise.
